Nebbi Hit By COVID 19 As 8 Ballers Test Positive

Shocking news landed on our desks this morning from Nebbi Municipality ,West Nile indicating that 8 players from a local football club Hotspring Fc were test positive for the deadly Covid 19 virus.

From the report obatined through one of the Sport Journalist within the town, Jakony Verrati, the players were preparing to head to Fufa technical training center Njeru for the region league play offs.

As part of SOPs put in place, all players were to be tested for COVID 19 before the travel. This is how the 8 players were found positive with the virus.

All the players tested positive have been put under quarantine.
