ANNESSA DIVINE aka Agnes B. Comfort BIO: NATIONALITY: Ugandan Family life : Parents: Joyce and Yudah, residents of Arua city. Marital Status: Married Fellowship:  Agape Christian Ministries International Passion for music: "Music touches my soul and is a direct means of communication to my God. Music takes me to a place where I operate in my full potential. I best express myself through music." To Divine, Music speaks a language that cuts across and is easily understood by all people. She says, "When you want to communicate to the world and souls of people, use music, you will not go wrong."   Her Music Journey: She started singing early and was the Choir Leader at St. Philips C.O.U Arua. She continued leading praises and ministering at conferences and mission platforms whenever God opened the door. Later on, she started writing and composing songs inspired by her walk with God and plight of humanity. Purpose statement: " I am a strategic, dynamic, and creative person equipped by God's grace to minister the love of Jesus Christ to mankind, while embracing all-inclusive approaches to development and upholding the dignity of human life in its fullness. Work experience: Over 10 years of both international and local experience in: Gender and Inclusion; Project Development, Management, Monitoring and Evaluation; SGBV Prevention and Response; Policy Research and Advocacy; Civil Society, Partnerships and Networking; Human Rights Based Approach to Development; Capacity Development and Training; Refugee Programming and Protection; and Community Mobilization. She is a member of many Human Rights networks and movements.   Countries she has worked and lived in include: Uganda, Lesotho, Zambia and Kenya. Academics: She is a holder of MSc. Governance and Leadership from (JKUAT), Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (MUK) and a number of certificates in humanitarian related courses. Annessas' debut worship song "Halelujah" was released early July 2022. In this song, she conveys her heartfelt gratitude and worship to God for who He is and what He means to her. More songs will be released soon. She is signed to Sauti ya Simba, a gospel record label based in the city of Arua, Uganda.
