BIOGRAPHY

 Introduction 

-Deme  is an award winning Gospel artist based in Uganda, westnile, Nebbi district.
-Real name is OWINJRWOTH Rogers. 

 Birth: 
He was born on the 27th/July/1994 in Nebbi general hospital in Nebbi district. First born in a family of six.

 Marriage: 

Deme got married officially to Afoyorwoth Nesta in 2022 in a Holly matrimony in  Nebbi district, and in 2023 September God blessed them with a bouncing baby boy name Elyon. 

Education:

As any other child in the family,  Deme studied formally through thick and thin upto the university where he graduated with a diploma in Education secondary in subjects of Chemistry and mathematics. 

 Career: 
Deme started his music career  in choir, as time went on,  he started writings and leading songs in the choir.  
In 2015 due to the good music he had written,  he was sponsored by his church to record his first audio together with the choir members formally known as "Deme choir "and the song did so well.  As time went on, more audios were recorded with the choir. 

 *Solo:
* Deme decided to go solo in 2018 with his first song being "Blessing"  produced by Joshman.
Since that time he has released great songs like "Count it,  good morning, Am next, Teguna, Jamich ft crown music, Mugisa, Adunde, on time, Kebin iwinj etc that made him a household name in the gospel ministry. 

 Ministration: 

Deme has ministered in many places within Uganda such as Nebbi, Paidha, Arua, Kampala, Buliisa,Masindi, Kamuli,  Jinja etc" and outside Uganda such as DRC.
And every where he goes, God is using him greatly through miracles,healings, blessings  etc as he minister. 

 *Achievement:
* Amidst many great honours he got, the major surprise came in 2023 as he was nominated as Westnile Artist of the year in ROYAL GUEST AWARD In KAMPALA  recognising his talent nationally. 

 *Divine revelations pre-ministry: 

In 2017 ,God spoke to him through his servant Prophet .Stephen Atria  in ARUA city about his calling in ministry and future. From that time,many things changed in his life and he started singing songs with revelations.
In 2018,God confirmed  his readiness for ministry, this happened as he was worshiping in his home church one of the Sunday service, he led the church into a deep worship,  then surprisingly all his hands turned very oily (covered with oil like substance) and later on he consulted great men of God to interpret,  all agreed that it was a confirmation of his long awaited time for ministry. 

He has worked with a number of other artists.
