Japhat "Jacoby" Sanday Pidoich (born September 27, 1999, West Nile), professionally known as P. Jae Coby, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, actor, and occasional freelance broadcaster from Uganda, covering agriculture, environmental issues, and sports.
Coby developed an early interest in music, performing in church choirs and school events, which helped to nurture his vocal abilities and stage presence. As a child, he explored his musical curiosity by collecting cassette tapes while listening to both local FM stations and international broadcasts via shortwave and mediumwave radios. He began writing songs at age 11, eventually performing original compositions that highlighted his talent as both a solo and collaborative artist.
Alongside his musical career, Coby gained experience in broadcasting and performing arts from a young age. He anchored school news segments, appeared on radio programs, and provided sports commentary at school events. He also participated in school dramas as a writer and performer, a practice he has continued professionally as a freelance actor and writer.
Musically, P. Jae Coby fuses lyricism with melody, harmony, and contemporary sounds. His work often explores themes of faith, personal growth, social issues, and daily life, resonating with audiences locally and internationally.
