Female Singer Liama To Contest For Woman MP In 2021

The Uganda current Political atmosphere had taken yet another twist with new breeds of energetic youths actively striving to take full control over their country.

The new breed of Leadership came into Limelight by 2017 when Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi self-proclaimed ghetto HE BOBI Wine contested for Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East constituency and won with a landslide victory of over 70 %.

In Northern Uganda, we have Singer Justine Obol Simple man who is currently serving as a district councillor for Laroo Division Gulu district.

This new political new wave has awakened and lured many potential youths into active politics.

The latest buzz coming from upcountry indicates that celebrated, award-winning Northern female singer Lalam Irene alias Liama is also set to hit the ballot papers for Gulu Woman MP come 2021.


The singer made her intentions known to her fans through her social media handle. She says, she is tired of seating while seeing things going the wrong way for the youths, and it is time for her to get up and fight for her fellow youths through contesting for the Gulu district Woman MP seat in the forthcoming election.


This means that Liama will be facing Betty Aol Ocan for the hot Gulu Woman Parliamentary seat.


Speaking to an insider from Liama's camp who preferred anonymity, He reveals to westnilexpozed that Liama has laid down her manifestos and plans to start underground consultations with elders.
