For over Twenty Years, the little success & transformation of westnile music as a region can't be talked about without mentioning a one Gentleman Mr John Madira Kennedy alias Jm Kennedy.
Unlike in some places where a legend of his calliber would be enjoying fruits of his seeds, Jm Kennedy is in the fighting space & unhappy with the Promoters who do not value his worth.
While talking to West Nile Xpozed Media Ltd this week, Jm Kennedy said, with effect from next year 2024, He won't consider taking any bookings for any kind of performance less than Two Million Shillings ($ 530) from Promoters else he will make resourceful use of himself.
"I will make arrangements with club owners to have my own shows & in some cases work on percentage" He Said
With hopes of holding a concert soon, Jm Kennedy also added that, his current management is in the process of monetizing his works ahead of the planned concert & New album release which includes a Gospel.
Jm Kennedy is behind hits like Alio, Mungusi, Bakosi, Tuhumutu, Wife material featuring Wise DG, Amitu ngo featuring Elton Loverboy & another yet to be released which will feature Lucky Dee.
