Nebbi-based disc jockey and primary school teacher, DJ Rojjabwoy, is counting losses after unidentified thieves broke into his house earlier this week, Monday 27th, and stole away with property worth millions of shillings.
The DJ, who is currently attached to BP Entertainment and Alur Cultural Festival Ltd, said he lost “clothing, two bags, four laptops, a TV screen, external hard disks, and kitchen utensils.”
He added that “as I speak, the matter is now with the police, I reported it yesterday. They brought in a sniffer dog, which traced the scent to a nearby home. Two people have been detained at the station, while another suspect is still being searched for. The whole situation is really weighing heavily on me.” The DJ explains on this website.
Efforts to obtain a comment from Nebbi District territorial police were unsuccessful by press time.
Meanwhile, the manager of BP ENTERTAINMENT, Prudence Afoyorwoth, popularly known as Pruddy Bæ, said the DJ currently needs emotional support.
“Yeah, he needs emotional support,” she said when contacted for a comment.
