The proprietor of one of the leading travel and Tour Company in Alur land, Angara Tours and Travel Mr Francis Obedgiu alias Mr Angara is in cloud 9 after receiving a mega cash prize.
Mr Angara was awarded 9,000,000 (Nine Million Uganda Shillings) last Friday 17th June 2022 for emerging 9th in the national COVID-19 Recovery for Youth Entrepreneurs in Tourism Challenge that was organized by Young Uganda Tour operator YUTO and Tour Guides Forum of Uganda WITH FUNDING FROM Aga Khan Foundation and European Union.
This event was aimed at boosting the recovery of the national tourism sector that was badly hit by COVID-19; the young entrepreneurs and guides were taken through training to learn how to control and put measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the world.
