Peace Prevails: Attacked Radio Pacis Journalist & Attacker Forgive Each Other

Following the alleged Assault on Sabir Musa, A Journalist with Arua Diocese Media Center Communication's Department of Radio Pacis  on 18th of Oct 2021 in the course of executing his duty at Arua central Forest reserve, The management of the radio has taken a stand to condemn the Incidence upon thorough interrogation and warned perpetrators to desist.

 

 

Reliable information received by West Nile Xpozed Media Ltd reveal that l, The victim was pursuing a story concerning an appeal filed by the Member Of Parliament for Maracha County to the National Physical Planning Board over failure by Arua City Physical Planning Unit to approve his plan to develop Eco-Tourism at Arua Central Forest Reserve commonly known to be Barifa.

 

 

Sabir Musa best known by his let’s talk peace program and reporting news on Radio Pacis who was Putting on his press jacket alleged that the incident found them interacting with  MP preparing to have an Interview over allegations made towards his activities in the forest.

 

 

In this case the one who assaulted the journalist was identified to be Lino Anguyo a resident in Ayivu west constituency under Arua city.

 

 

This act was boldly condemned by the West Nile Xpozed Media Ltd,  Arua Media Team on the various media platforms as this is not the first time a journalist in the region is hit by members of the Public, the most recent being an attack on National Television Journalist by the police enforcing covid-19 curfew directive in Adjumani district.

 

 

However, upon concessors, the Parties admitted areas of weakness and Forgave each other today at Radio Pacias and the perpetrator pledged to reform from his actions.

 

 

This attack on journalists has been condemned with caution to the public over interference with journalistic works of media practitioners.
