Utwenge Is A Special Song - Azawi Endorses Alur's Traditional Song [Video]

Utwenge is one traditional song that rings on the mind of many elders in Alur land.

Artistes like Bush Boy and Wojok Dekoda are among the few modern artistes that have endorsed its beauty by releasing a studio version of it.

However, the Bush Boy – Dekoda version faced a backlash from some sectors of fans that allegedly labeled it 'a fake song'

Ugandan fast rising international female artiste, Azawi thinks otherwise.

The 'Ache For You' hit maker today in a video joined the wagon and said ‘Utwenge’ is a special folk song.

Through her Facebook page she posted;

''The adungu is one of my favorite traditional instrument.. Along with my brothers, we played this special folk song called otwenge.. Great music by the Alur people from the West Nile, Uganda" -Azawi
