A section of music fans in Nebbi Municipality is calling for a venue change for the highly anticipated “Musical Battle of Titans” between Lucky Dee and Bushy D’King, arguing that the selected venue, GAF Apartments, is too small to host the expected crowd.

The concerns followed a September 6, 2025, Facebook post by Bushy D’King confirming the battle through a press release from Giant Sounds and Events Limited. Many fans suggested the event be shifted to larger open spaces such as Luo Grounds or Rajja Chambers.

Pakwach FM presenter Methere Veratti posted, “Better off as a night show and GAF is too small for this event. Luo Ground will be better.” Other fans echoed similar sentiments, with Jakech Boris Rwothomio, Roy Rossi, Hanz Perez Jalebe, and Jeeh UG Smilley all pushing for a bigger venue.

Jakech Boris Rwothomio wrote "GAF is small. We want Rajja chambers or Luo grounds." Another fan, Roy Rossi, posted "GAF is too small for this event, please use Luo ground."

Also, Jakech Boris Rwothomio "GAF is mall. We want Rajja chambers or Luo grounds." Hanz Perez Jalebe, "GAF may not accommodate us all😕😕😕😕". Jeeh UG Smilley "GAF is small for Nebbi! We need an Open Venue or a very big venue!".

In addition to venue concerns, some questioned the decision to hold the Nebbi leg of the event on December 25, Christmas Day, with others doubting the organizers’ planning capacity. “Bushy, you should have guided him,” wrote one fan identified as Alur Violence.

Lucky Dee, known for his annual Christmas Day live band concerts at Raja Delux, traditionally attracts fans from across the West Nile and beyond. Bushy D’King, on the other hand, is recognized for hosting his yearly New Year’s Eve shows at GAF Apartments. As the event is expected to bring fans of both days and "Titans."

The Musical Battle of Titans will open on Saturday, December 13, at Cleveland Hill & Boarding Primary School Grounds in Kyadondo, before moving to GAF Apartments in Nebbi on Thursday, December 25, Alpha Courts in Panyimur on Monday, December 29, and Chill Out Spot (formerly Creamlands Motel) in Paidha on Thursday, January 1, 2025.
