West Nile music heavyweight Bushy D’King has officially confirmed an upcoming music battle with his former colleague Lucky Dee the Boss, also known as the Trouble Base Commando.
Bushy made the announcement on Thursday afternoon while signing a public contract at an event organized by Giant Eagle Sounds and Events Ltd. He described the battle as a long-awaited musical showdown between West Nile Scare Dem and Trouble Base Entertainment.
“It’s high time for me to introduce my boy to a corporate audience. From me, I can confirm — it’s going to happen, and it’s a beautiful thing,” Bushy said shortly after signing the agreement.
By the time Bushy appended his signature, Lucky Dee had already signed his part of the deal earlier in the day.
The contract signing was followed by a press conference attended by journalists and social media influencers. The event featured representatives from both camps, including Akim Roy and Nash from Trouble Base, as well as Promota Addicted from West Nile Scare Dem.
The event organizers were represented by Derick Persy, Saa Original, and the Assistant Marketing Director of Giant Eagle Sounds and Events Ltd.
Akim Roy, speaking on behalf of Trouble Base, said Lucky Dee and his team were ready to prove their musical strength.
“We’re coming to show our big brother that the little boy can now play the drums the big bro can dance to. It’s music, not noise,” Akim stated.
According to Derick Persy, the Communications Officer of Giant Eagle Sounds and Events Ltd., the event has been highly anticipated in the Alur region, aiming to showcase musical excellence and unity among artists.
“It has not been easy to bring these two artists on the same stage. There have been high-level discussions with both teams, and now everything is set. Fans should expect the best from both artists,” Persy said.
As anticipation grows, fans across West Nile and the Alur region are expressing excitement about who will take the crown and raise the flag of Alur music higher both locally and abroad.
