Security Assured in Arua Street Jam Projected to host 10,000 Revellers

With the popular phrase Party after Party in the lyrics of artiste Big Trill, It all looks evidently real after most events in the festive season registered success.

Here comes yet another Highly anticipated Cross over night commonly known as The Street Jam Festival.

The street jam is a popular event where revellers Enjoy Performance by Music Artists & dancers as the street remains closed to the usual traffic flow.

This year’s organizers headed by Electra lounge, a newly opened club in Arua town is expecting 10,000 revellers to grace their end of year street jam after previously hitting up to 8,000 in the last 2017 edition.

Powerful list of artists have been selected Headlined by Winnie Nwagi & Westnile acts like OPU from Koboko, Elton Loverboy from Nebbi, Young Bizzo from Moyo ,G.A Swagger, Gbaraspoken, Rapper Blutit & King weeda to give an all-round taste.

During Yesterday’s Press briefing, Mr Walter Andama, Director Of Electra lounge said ”The West Nile music festival has always been a party of its own, We have been very detailed to ensure that everything goes on as planned and we want to ensure that the objective of giving total fun to the revellers will be achieved”

Meanwhile via Security, The District Police Traffic Commander Mr Francis Onen, said “There is stability and revellers should not fear because the Police and the Army will all be out to ensure their security is 100% Guaranteed.

He however discouraged revellers from coming with their vehicles or seek permission to park at the central police station to minimize chances of vandalism.

He further asked people to be conscious and partner with security to avert cases of crime as he assured the public of enough.

Westnilexpozed.com has learnt that, some of the routes within Arua town has been diverted to give room for the street jam activities.

During the Street Jam, Revellers will also be treated to fireworks in what looks set to be a magnificent midnight colouration of the Arua skies with many other places within the town all set to do the same.
