Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results 2022 will be officially released on Friday, 24, 2023 according to an announcement from Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) top Official.
The results will be released by Education Minister Hon. Janet Museveni at State House, Nakasero in Kampala, as it was the case with 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results.
Ahead of the release, UNEB will hold a briefing on Wednesday, 22, 2023 to review the performance of students from State House, Kampala and will be attended by Mrs. Museveni and other senior officials from the Ministry of Education like Mr Dan Odongo, The Executive secretary - UNEB & The Board’s Chairperson, Prof. Mary Okwakol.
The announcement of the official date for the release of the results, and the related modalities, will be made after the briefing.
The 2022 UACE exams saw a total of 97,890 students register to sit for the exams, a slight decrease from the 98,392 who sat for the same exams in 2020. Of these, 17,319 candidates were sponsored by the government under the Universal Post O’level education programme.
The release of the UACE results is eagerly awaited by students, parents, and teachers across the country. It is expected that the UNEB will provide a detailed analysis of the performance of students and highlight any trends or patterns that emerged from the exams an information that is very useful to both educators and policymakers as they seek to improve the quality of education in Uganda.
