Edwin Katamba, a.k.a MC Kats, may soon be off our Tv screens as a Tv Presenter or Mcee. The humble King Of The Mic has hinted us of a possible retirement sooner or later.
Kats has been in the Tv and Mcee business for over fifteen years having started out as an MC on a local teens concert before becoming a presenter on WBS Television.
He worked WBS Tv later joined NTV Ug before finally landing at Next Media's NBS TV.
Mc Kats feels he has done enough and needs to take some rest as he mentors more Mcees and Tv presenters.
During an interview on the NBS UnCut show, MC Kats revealed that he will be quite in the emceeing business in a few years to come. He will hence start a consultancy firm with him at the center of it.
I want to leave After 5 and emceeing but keep with the production team. I want to be a consultant. I will be able to guide young emcees. That is why I am doing different things. I want to retire in a few years.
I have been here for 15 years. I want other people to take charge. Very many young people are talented but there is no space. So I will leave so that they can get an opportunity.-Mc Kats
